The new changes at 17 have now brought it to the forefront of SC Fine Dining. The Chef has the true Southern Hospitality that upstate SC needs. I have been 3 times this year alone and his team has "knocked it out of the park" everytime. You can not find a more romantic bar view in SC. I look forward to returning many times as so far it has just been fantastic.

Loved our date night during restaurant week! The ambiance is cozy and romantic, the staff knowledgeable and friendly, and the food delicious. Hand crafted creative cocktails were definitely worth the splurge! We will absolutely return to sample more culinary creations and enjoy the views.

My husband and I spent a wonderful anniversary dinner at Restaurant 17. It is a beautiful restaurant tucked away in the hills of Northern South Carolina. We were greeted at the door and ushered in to our seats by a very friendly hostess. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. We ordered two small plates and two large plates. The pimento cheese beignets were some of the best food we've had in awhile. Everything was delicious including the desserts. My pavlova was a work of art. Not only was the meal wonderful but the view was also breathtaking. Considering the quality of the food and how much we ate the price was very reasonable. If we're in the area again we will definitely find our way back to Restaurant 17.

Very well organised and convenient spot. They provide large portions and for reasonable prices. We enjoyed the food very much and the staff members were super affable and explanatory. I recommend this place.

This place is simply amazing and beautiful! The scenery is breathtaking being so close to the mountains and sorrounded by vineyards. The service is very professional, the food delicious and the prices accordingly a bit higher than in other restaurants. They have a large wine and beer menu and you can also order a variety of cocktails.If you have a special day with your loved one or a family get together, this would be the perfect place to go to. Nobody will be disappointed.P.s.: I recommend taking a walk after dinner to enjoy the beautiful scenery and vineyards :)
